Nollywood actress Tayo Sobola celebrate her birthday last night in grandstyle and some of her colleages were in attendance.

Tayo, who is in her 30s got a Mercedes Benz AMG 63 as a present. She currently uses the luxury Range Rover 2015.

“I shared this a while back in one of my post; it’s worth repeating again.

Honestly, I really don’t want to believe Ubi Franklin’s marriage to Lilian Esoro is over, seeing he still got his wedding ring on, and despite Lilian yanking off “Franklin” from her Instagram profile name and deleting all Ubi’s picture. Obviously, there’s a message she’s trying to pass across to the public. But honestly the public don’t care. WE DON’T CARE.

Lillian, can you be matured for a minute and stop letting the public into your matrimonial issues?
Apparently, so much has been said online about Ubi Franklin & Lilian Esoro’s marriage hitting the rock; some blaming the wife while others pointing fingers at the husband. But please permit me to share my honest opinion on this matter. I just hope I don’t get bashed for airing my opinion just like i did on Ogbonna Kanu’s marriage proposal to Laura Ikeji.

Having been around women, here’s what i know about them. Women are die-hard lovers. Trust me. They love more than we men do. Apparently, I’ve come to understand that when a woman truly loves a man, he really doesn’t need to fight hard to win her over. I’m not saying the man has to be perfect, No! But If the woman loves the man that much, she would cover up so many things for him and also believe in him.

Having said that, without little or no experience about marriage, i might not be the right person to address this issue, but to my own little understanding, when you truly love someone, the kind of perseverance you have with them will totally be different. You as an individual will always play reasonable in every part in their lives. Now, talking about marriage vows being exchanged at the alter of God, permit me to ask this simple question.

Why should real Christians go to the alter of God in the first place when he/she knows there’s no such thing as genuine love in their heart but selfish desires? So, you marry a person you don’t love? A person you don’t respect?

Because If you respect your partner and the alter where the name of the Almighty God is called, you can’t come and make promises to mere humans and forget about it all; most especially now that a little child is a product of your matrimony.

Like I’ll always say, marriage takes both people being willing to work through the issues. A marriage only works if you’re willing to work for the marriage and as well putting God first because God is Love.
So Lillian, please permit me to say this with all due respect.. “Your marriage wasn’t based on love my dear” and i honestly think you both don’t love yourself that much.

Because if you do, prior to your wedding I’m very sure there are behaviours that are evident if you have taken enough time to get to know your husband. Certain attitudes and habits of his should not be a surprise, because when you made those commitment to your husband, you were committing to his whole being. It’s rare that people turn into a new person after marriage.

So if your husband has something that bugs you, more than likely it bugged you prior to jumping the broom, now is the time you must deal with it. If it’s really wearing you down, communicate how much it is affecting your relationship with him and see there is a compromise between you both. Accepting defeat or divorce is a no no at this point for you both, and as you know love heals all wounds.

On a final note, i think it’s high time you both take a break from posting your family issues on social media and take the time to pray for divine direction from God, that’s what true Christians should do. Allow the will of God be done. It’s my prayer that God heals you both fast. Can’t wait to see you both hold hands together again at public events. Stay Blessed!

“I Have Completed My Race” – Murdered 33-Year-Old Bride-To-Be Smiles On Her Funeral Program

Lots of tears flowed as late Temidayo Adeleke who was stabbed to death by her househelp was finally buried at The Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos State.

Her family chose to use a lovely photo of the late bride-to-be for her funeral program with the caption: ‘I have completed my race!’

Temidayo had been murdered after her houseboy Joel Ludguo approached the 32-year-old victim
around 10.30pm on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, and asked for advance payment of N15,000 out of his N27,000 salary.

Adeleke, whose marriage was slated for early 2017, was said to have pleaded with him to be patient,
saying she did not have naira notes on her.

Unfortunately, her plea fell on deaf ears as Ludguo left the boss’ living room in anger only to return a few minutes later with a knife and stabbed her in the chest.

According to the police, 22-year-old Joel Ludguo was desperate to send the money to his girlfriend in Cameroon. They have said that the suspect would be duly prosecuted.

A security guard at the Adelekes’ residence, who identified himself simply as Abbah, revealed that the suspect was employed about two months ago, adding that he was on drugs. He had told Punch in an interview:

“The boy is wicked and I have always warned him. He takes drugs. When policemen checked his clothes, they found tremor there. Madam bought him a new phone last month and she usually gave him money apart from his salary. She brought him home through her church member last month and they lived in her flat.

“It was the driver who lives in the adjoining flat that heard madam scream. By the time he got there, she was gasping with blood gushing out of her chest. The driver alerted me immediately to stop Joel at the gate and he was later arrested,” he had said.

Temidayo was described by everybody at her burial as a kind-hearted and passionate woman, who lived a virtuous life.

Serena Williams is engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 33. She broke the news in a poem – on Reddit.

Wedding bells are ringing for Serena Williams!

“I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome,” Williams, 35, wrote on her verified Reddit account.

She continued: “But by choice. Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes.” Ohanian shared the Reddit announcement on Facebook, simply writing, “She said yes.”

Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo Loses N235 Billion to Ponzi Scheme

Popular Nigerian Pastor and founder of Kingsway International Christian Centre located in the UK, Matthew Ashimolowo, has lost $4.8 million (more than N235 billion) to a Ponzi scheme after members on the board of his church invested the money into the scheme.

The ponzi scheme is owned by former Premier League soccer player, Richard Rufus, who used to be a defender for Charlton Athletic.

Rufus who is a former member on the board of the church, promised investors along with the church a return as high as 55 per cent. He was last year found guilty of defrauding about 100 investors out of a total of $10,731,159 (£8,682,343) in the £16-million investing scheme

Christian Post who shared a report of findings from an inquiry published on December 14th by the Charity Commission for England and Wales, disclosed that the church had a net loss of about $4.8 million (£3.9 million) after its trustees invested over $6.1 million (£5 million).

Kingsway International Christian Centre was the single largest investor in the scheme. The Charity Commission in the report presented after its investigation, stated that the church’s trustees made an initial investment and entered into an agreement in which they were guaranteed that the church’s investment would earn a profit of about 5 percent per month, with the exception of August and December when they were guaranteed profits of about 2.5 percent.

“The inquiry established that in practice, however, the investments resulted in a net loss of £3.9% million to the charity,” the report explains The report states that the church’s trustees who handed over the funds were guilty of “mismanagement.”

The commission found that the church’s trustees did not “exercise sufficient care when making the decisions to invest £5 million of the charity’s funds through the ex-trustee’s investment scheme.”

The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido and his beautiful wife are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary and this throwback photo of them having a nice time at the beach has surfaced online.

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, has quite a big family – three wives, Sadiya Ado Bayero, Maryam, and Rakiya, and twelve children.

Last year, Sanusi married Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa as his fourth wife.

Toyin Aimakhu Announces Change of Name

Controversial Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu has announced she is leaving her former surname behind as we head into 2016. The actress announced on Instagram that she now wants to be referred to as Toyin Abraham.

Toyin says the change is a family decision.  A statement on her page read,

Multiple-Award winning actress formerly known as Toyin Aimakhu will be called Toyin ABRAHAM from now onwards.

The actress said the reason behind her name change, “is a family decision and will like to be officially addressed as Toyin Abraham henceforth.” Presently the actress is busy working on her new project; Alakada Reloaded.

Toyin Aimakhu has also changed her social media handles to befit her new surname.

DLil Kesh Goes Back To Join His Former Church Choir Members For Yuletide Performance (Photos)

Lil Kesh has made this revelation in several interviews that he was a choir member long before he started doing secular music.
The superstar recently went back to pay a visit to his former church choir members where he joined them in performing like they used to.
