Olamide Adedeji aka Baddosneh was struck by tragedy yesterday January 30th just when he was celebrating his son Maximiliano who was a year older.
The rapper’s mother sadly passed on, leaving Olamide as an orphan since he lost his father several years before.
The bereaved singer who announced the sad passing away of his mother on his instagram page shortly after he announced the birthday of his son has since been receiving condolence messages from all corners of the industry especially from his colleagues and friends.
Moments after the sad occurrence, Davido dropped a comment on Baddo’s post saying he would always be there for him.
In the same way, Adekunle Gold, Small Doctor and Alao Malaika have stretched their arms of love to the bereaved Olamide and his brother.
Since his announcement, Olamide has not been seen online, sources say the rapper is really distraught.

Nigeria Customs Service operatives on Wednesday stormed the home of Sir Olu Okeowo in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Okeowo, a real estate billionaire, is popularly known in the state for his choice cars.
It was gathered that Okeowo allegedly failed to pay import duties on some of them.
Customs officers and men, who were at this expanse residence, seized his Rolls Royce cars.
An eye witness told DAILY POST that armed operatives arrived the premises early in the day.
“I don’t know if he was around, but they took the vehicles away from his mansion inside Parkview Estate”, he said.
It is still unclear if the businessman would be prosecuted.
Once under the radar of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commision (EFCC), Okeowo’s airconditioned garage is reportedly worth around N2billion.

Kenya’s opposition leader Raila Odinga took a symbolic presidential oath of office on the Bible in front of thousands of ecstatic supporters on Tuesday in a direct challenge to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s rule.
“I, Raila Omolo Odinga, do swear that I will protect the nation as people’s president, so help me God,” he said as the crowd cheered.
The Kenyan police had earlier fired teargas to disperse thousands of opposition supporters gathering in central Nairobi to celebrate the planned swearing-in of opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Odinga says he, and not President Uhuru Kenyatta, is the country’s rightful leader.
He lost an August 8 presidential election that was nullified by the Supreme Court, and boycotted a repeat poll on October 25, 2017, saying it would not be free and fair.
Violence erupted after the re-election of Kenyatta on August 13, 2017, leaving at least 24 people dead nationwide, a rights group said.
The victims included a 9-year-old girl, according to the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights. Relatives said the victims were shot dead in various parts of the nation, including 17 in the capital of Nairobi, the group said.
Allegations of vote-rigging have sparked concerns, with some Kenyans fearing ethnic clashes similar to those triggered a decade ago.
Though Kenya’s last election in 2013 was mainly peaceful, the country plunged into widespread violence in the aftermath of the 2007 vote.
No fewer than 1,000 people were killed in months of bloodshed following the 2007 election after Odinga –defeated by then-President Mwai Kibaki — claimed the vote was rigged.
Odinga has also changed his Twitter bio to reflect his new “position,” describing himself as the “President of the Republic of Kenya,” just like Kenyatta.

“Glee” actor Mark Salling has been found dead in what is thought to be suicide, TMZ reports.
Salling, who was arrested and had pled guilty to child pornography charges was reportedly found dead in a riverbed near his home in Sunland.
While the manner of his death is still yet to be confirmed, sources told TMZ that he may have hung himself.
Salling, who played Puck on the hit musical “Glee” was arrested for the possession of child pornography in December 2015 and was waiting for his sentencing due to take place in March.
He had reportedly negotiated a plea deal which would have had him serve between 4 to 7 years in prison, register as a sex offender and banned from communication with minors.

Nigerian music superstar Dbanj has disclosed how he discovered the ‘Shaku Shaku’ vibe on his CREAM Platform just as it went mainstream.
He made this known during the draws for winners on the platform.
‘We were in the club one night and I heard this song, Oshozondi. I thought it was hilarious but I didn’t pay attention. Few weeks later I was listening to songs uploaded on the backend and then I heard that song again.’
Now it had his attention. He knew definitely that he had heard it before.
‘So I called my tech guys and I was like, Does that mean that songs that have blown are also being uploaded on CREAM?’ It turned out that the artiste Slimcase was already a known name in the ‘streets’ before seeking for an avenue to become really popular.
Since then, the Shaku Shaku sound have become a household name; with the artiste eventually collaborating with Dbanj on a yet to be released track.
Dbanj’s CREAM Platform selects ten random subscribers to help them with either prize money or entertainment releated ventures. On Tuesday he held a draw for twenty more winners (for November and December) in Lagos.

According to Betty, Mai Atafo came to work with her after his resignation and she was scared because Genevieve Magazine could not pay him as much as he was earning. However it became apparent that Mai was driven by his passion, not after the money.
When he got a job as a fashion Editor with Genevieve Magazine, he was very humble. He was eating in local places with his colleagues. The only different thing was his big car.

Last year it was discovered that the voice behind last year’s edition to be Ejike Ibedilo.
Now, Social Media users are so certain the new Big Brother’s voice is none other than Andre Blaze.. Even Media personality, Dotun of Cool FM shared the same sentiment.
Andre Blaze Henshaw, is a Nigerian radio personality, rapper, television host and executive producer. He first gained notice as a member of the hip hop group Tuck Tyght Allstars.
His radio career began at Rhythm 93.7 FM Port Harcourt, where he worked for over six years before joining Nigezie as a TV host. In May 2012, he quit his job at the cable TV channel after four years, later accepting an offer to host Nigeria’s Got Talent.
Prior to this, he had hosted several other reality television talent shows including True Search, Battle of the Year and Peak Talent Show. He is also an anchor for the Google Digital Skills for Africa Training Programme.

Actor and model Emmanuel Ikubese has said he thinks it isn’t right for a lady to propose to a man.
Speaking to Hip TV, Ikubese said he feels a lady proposing is a result of her not knowing where she stands in her man’s life.

After landing a coveted role in highly anticipated movie “Black Panther“, the Nigerian/British/American actress popped up on our radar.
Sope Aluko was born in Nigeria but primarily raised in the UK. She has dual-citizenship in both the US and the UK, and speaks four different languages, including her native language, Yoruba.
In the past couple of years, Sope has had roles on Netflix’s “Bloodline”, NBC’s “Law & Order SVU” and “Parks & Recreation”, and guest appearances on USA Network’s “Burn Notice”, “Graceland” and Lifetime’s “Army Wives”. Well, to everyone who thought Stephanie Otobo’s confession last weekend at the Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) Worldwide was the end of the Otobo/Apostle Suleman saga – you were wrong!
In a pre-recorded video made public by Sahara Reporters on Tuesday, Stephanie Otobo is seen foretelling her confession.
In the video recorded in June 2017 but just made public today, Otobo said she was being pressured by Apostle Suleman to say the government was putting her up to make the allegations against him.
“He is telling me to come and make a video to lie that it’s the government of Nigeria that is putting me up to this,” she said in the video.
“I don’t know when you’ll be watching this but I’m just doing this video for the future. Today’s date is the 21st of June, 2017,” she said in the video.

Dice Ailes was attacked by gunmen, the musician has shared on his Snapchat.
Dice Ailes said the car he was driving in was sandwiched between two vehicles.
Armed men who got out of one of the vehicles pointed guns at him and his friends, he said, trying to get them out of the car.
The musician shared that the provisional security accompanying him home continued driving while they were being attacked.
