‘Its A bit Overrated’ – DJ Xclusive Comments On “BlackPanther”

As ‘Black Panther’ enters its second week of screening in cinemas, lots of awesome reviews keep showing up day after day with people pledging their allegiance to the fictional African country Wakanda.

The movie is said to have made over 700 million dollars worldwide since it’s release date earlier this month.

Every movie is not supposed to have good reviews, right? Popular Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Xclusive feels the Black Panther movie is overhyped. According to him, there is just something about the movie that makes it seem over rated.

The production for black panther is amazing…..the cast did well but there’s just something about the movie that makes it abit overrated

FG Issues Statement On How Nigerians Should Address President Buhari Henceforth

The federal government has released a statement informing Nigerians how President Buhari should be addressed at formal functions henceforth.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, gave the directive in a circular sent to ministries, departments and agencies of the federal government. The circular reads;

“Government has observed with concern the inconsistent manner in which the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria is addressed during Official and Private functions. It has therefore become necessary to have a standard format for addressing him at such formal occasions. To this end, Mr. President shall henceforth be addressed as ‘‘MUHAMMADU BUHARI, PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.’’ except in purely Armed Forces Programmes, where “COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF THE ARMED FORCES OF FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA” will be added. All concerned persons should accordingly be guided and ensure strict compliance with the contents of this Circular.”

This new directive indicates the president, though a retired major general, is not to be addressed by that military rank at formal function

‘The fear of NBC’ – Fans Criticize Olamide’s “Science Student” Video

Yesterday, the much anticipated visual to Olamide’s controversial yet popular song ‘Science Student’ was released on youtube and somehow, fans who watched the video noticed a much different and very restricted Olamide.

The very colourful and interesting video was opened with a mini-drama by Olamide and his theme before a transitioning into the real deal.

With the latest Shakushaku dance which became viral after the Science Student song, we also expected different versions of the dance on the video, well, we did have a dance but more of the Walking Dead kind of dance with a sprinkle of Shakushaku here and there.

Noticeable was also Olamide’s refusal to smoke or drink in the video… He was indeed preaching against drug abuse!

Recall that their song had been followed and trailed by controversy since its release, so much that there had been a call for its ban. The video will most likely change the perception towards the song.

See what Fans are saying about the video online;
