Former BB Naija housemate Gifty was called out earlier today by a supposed cousin in law.
The cousin in law revealed that Gifty who claims to be single is actually a married woman. She also accused Gifty of being a liar, cheat and an ill brought up lady.

So there’s good news and bad news. The good news is… I’m thanking God that I’m alive to give the bad news as a testimony.
Bad news is…
I was laying awake in bed at about 6am , and I just started smelling smoke. Stood up to shut off my tv and ac and realized it was coming from outside my door. Opened it to see the whole stairway was filled with huge gusts of black smoke/soot, and a fire was burning stuff downstairs. The smoke was so much I couldn’t get down past it to see the source of the flames. Rushed back into my room and climbed down from the 2nd floor balcony with my dog… and then got help from the amazing workers and neighbours who helped me put out the flames.
Turns out the ac in the living room had caught fire.. I know a lot of ppl have been trying to call and I appreciate it. Maybe the fire burnt some of the network in the house because I can’t receive calls LOL , but instead of calling to say sorry pls just maybe say a prayer and thank God with me.
Thank God I was awake to smell the smoke. Thank God we caught it early enough and the damage wasn’t so bad.. it basically burnt some of the stuff that was around it. So awards, portraits, and some small electronics. But thank God, Duke and I are alive and well. We only had to form James Bond and climb down from the balcony LOL. Thank God for my neighbors and the amazing workers in and around the compound for helping us escape via the balcony, helping put out the fire, and helping with the aftermath/cleaning.
Thank God for life. And I’m not even upset.. I’m just grateful for life and health and for the grace and mercy of God on my life. I figure I’m about to have the best year ever so the devil tried to throw a tantrum. But not today Satan. Not today, not ever. Now sit back and watch me be great. By God’s grace. Amen. God bless you all.

A neighbor to Banky W told Punch that the fire was caused by a faulty air conditioner at around 6 am Tuesday morning
A resident said, “The fire started around 6am and all of us came out to assist Banky in putting out the fire.
“However, Fire service officials arrived around 7.30am.
“So many items were destroyed including Banky’s awards. But officials of the fire service arrived over an hour late.”
Banky W is not the only musician that has suffered from fire attack in the Nigerian entertainment scene. Last year, Kate Henshaw’s apartment in Lekki was also destroyed by fire.

Go To Original Post Banky W’s Lekki Home Destroyed By FireA total of 41 Nigerian women, some of them in their 20s, who are victims of Human trafficking, returned to Nigeria from Mali, yesterday February 27th. They were received by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Diaspora Matters, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, along with officials of the National Agency for Protection and Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) and other government officials.
The women arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos in an aircraft belonging to the Nigeria Air Force.
Speaking at the airport, Abike Dabiri-Erewa said:
“They were deceived into embarking on the journey. We will ensure we train them to the state of proficiency in different vocations, after which we will trace their parents and counsel them. The NAPTIP has been tasked with rehabilitating the victims. We will monitor the girls for two years so they do not sell their vocational equipment. It goes beyond poverty for them to embark on such a mission. The government had to rescue them because they sent a distress call. This made Buhari direct the service chiefs to wade into the matter to rescue the girls.”

While speaking to journalist at Olososun dump site in Ojota on Monday, Mr Fatai Owoseni, Comissioner of Police revealed intentions of the state government to crush and recycle 4000 impounded commercial motorcycles.
This decision he said is in line with the provisions of the State Traffic Law of 2012. Furthermore this will help efforts by government to combat the use of Okadas by criminals.
“It would not be one off. So far, we have impounded about 500 motorcycles since we started our renewed efforts and we now have a total of about 4,000 bikes ready to be crushed. The law made provisions on how those motorcycles should be handled and the law also made provision on how to handle those that have flouted the law itself.
“The operators of the commercial motorcycles and those patronizing them, with time, you will get to see the Mobile Court going around to try some of those that have been arrested. What we are saying here is that we want people in Lagos to know that there is a law and the law is made for a purpose and if all of us obey the law and conform, the better for us.”Owoseni said due to the constant challenges that prevent government officials to properly enforce the law, the state government is considering to completely ban Okada activities in some areas like Lekki and Victoria Island.
“The Okada riders, no doubt, have been a sort of menace. They go into the road and flout the laws with impunity. When they get to where you have the traffic lights, they behave as if it is not meant for them and combine with that is the way the criminal elements put the motorcycles to either snatch money or use them as a getaway in some areas and the same law says that citizens should not patronize commercial motorcycles on prohibited routes.
“Not only that, the law says that by 8 p.m., they should not be on the road and so the message we are passing is that this is not going to be a one-off thing, we will continue and sustain it. We just like to appeal to people to stop patronizing Okada plying restricted routes,” Owoseni said.
Mr Olanrewaju Elegushi, the Acting Commission er for Transport confirmed the plans and added that all commercial motorcycle operations were warned to avoid restricted routes as the clampdown on offender will be total.
“We have an enforcement unit led by the Commissioner of Police, the Task Force on Environmental and Other Special Offences, the Divisional Police Officers and the Area Commanders. They have started enforcement and we came to see how far they have gone,” Elegushi said.

Here is what he said.
“Prior to our marriage, I’d known my wife for three years; we actually met in 2008. We started living together in 2009 and we got married in 2011. It’s been God all the way, there’s no miracle or anything much, it’s just been God.
“With marriage break-ups and celebrity dramas, I think it depends on what one wants. For me, when I met my wife, I knew she was the one for me. The love, the affection and the tender care are all present, and although we might have some misunderstanding but when we sleep over it, we move on. My wife is my best friend, I hold her in high esteem and as a result of this, we don’t quarrel often. When we do, we learn from it and move to the next level.
“I have a very big house, my wife has a very big room and so do I, but she has never spent the night in her room for one day. Sometimes when I tease her and say ‘go to your room’, she tells me ‘this is our room not your room’ and so most times we are always together. I have never experienced anything like this, my marriage to her is so sweet and I’m enjoying it to the fullest. Like I said, I won’t give the kudos to man but to God Almighty who has kept us in happiness, in peace and in harmony.”
Mr Okojie added that he avoids watching Mercy’s movies to avoid flared up emotions.

The donation he said was a result of first hand experience he had with Internally Displaced Persons in the North-East. He also called on to other well meaning citizens to support the organization’s effort in protecting millions of Nigerians in the various camps.
“The conditions I met the internally displaced persons, when I visited their various camps were terrible. They were really terrible,” he said.
“The 2Face Foundation has, therefore, decided to enter into partnership with the UNHCR to see how we can help put smiles on the faces of these persons. My foundation is today presenting this cheque to the UNHCR to support it in its operations of alleviating the sufferings of these IDPs,” he added.
In response to his kind deed, the UNHCR Acting Country Representative to Nigeria, Brigitte Mukango-Eno, commended the musician and solicited public support for its operations in the North East.
“We sincerely want to express the gratitude of the UNHCR to 2Face. This is a right step toward our private sector following. Over these years, it has become important for us, as an organisation, to depend on the private sector, for us to be able to meet our responsibilities. 2Face has scored a very important goal by discovering the UNHCR Office within the UN system. We want to use this opportunity to appeal to other private Nigerians and philanthropists to emulate this gesture by the 2Face Foundation in alleviating the conditions of the IDPs in the North East,” she said.
