Senator Yerima was on Channels Television yesterday, Sunday where he was asked several questions including his controversial marriage to a 13 year old Egyptian and the legalization of underaged marriage.
The Senator rebuffed claims that the idea is wrong and could create psychological dysfunction to the female child by backing up his ideology with the Holy Quran.
Senator Yerima also said his daughter, 16, will be getting married next month. He also believes the maturity of a female child should be measured by its parents and not an age factor!
