Half of a Yellow Sun Gross N280 million

The worldwide release of the movie “half of a yellow sun” is set to release on friday August 1 after so much debate about its ban by NFVCB. The movie which starred British-Nigerian BAFTA

award winner and Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor, BAFTA award winner Thandie Newton and other A list actors including, Genevieve Nnaji is about the time of Biafran war, a story of love, hate, forgiveness, greed and jealousy. The movie had already been released the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand has so far generated over N280,000,000. Half of a yellow sun is set to beat the N100 Million box office record set by the “Avengers”.
