Jonathan launches New National e-ID Card | Photos

President Joanthan on Thursday in Abuja launched the new electronic national ID card. The new ID which also serves as a ATM is powered by Mastercard and can be used for payments home and abroad, withdrawals also.

The first phase of the ID card launch will see 13 million Nigerians targeted while the second phase is more major, with 100million people in view.

Jonathan used his own ID to withdraw moneys on the launched, August 28th.
