Google has to pay up after a judge ruled that the tech giant invaded a Montreal woman’s privacy by including a photo of her with an exposed chest on its Street View.
When Maria Pia Grillo looked up her house in 2009 using Google’s street function, she was shocked to see herself — with part of her breasts exposed.
Google owes a fine of $2,250, according to Business Insider.
In the image, Grillo is seen sitting on her stoop leaning forward, her cleavage bared. Her face is blurred out, but she claimed in court papers that the picture offered enough information to identify her.
Grillo had demanded the company pay her $45,000 for emotional damage, including depression and mockery from her co-workers at a “well-known bank” where she worked, according to GigaOm. She also asked that her license plate and address be blurred.
But the judge didn’t think her emotional damage was caused by the Google incident, and was skeptical about why she decided to start legal proceedings two years after she found the image.

Apple CEO Tim Cook on Thursday said in an op-ed inBloomberg Businessweek that “I’m proud to be gay,” addressing rumors about his sexual orientation.
“While I have never denied my sexuality, I haven’t publicly acknowledged it either, until now,” he said in his commentary. “So let me be clear: I’m proud to be gay, and I consider being gay among the greatest gifts God has given me.”
He noted that being gay has provided a window into the challenges that people in other minority groups deal with every day.
“I don’t consider myself an activist, but I realize how much I’ve benefited from the sacrifice of others,” he wrote. “So if hearing that the CEO of Apple is gay can help someone struggling to come to terms with who he or she is, or bring comfort to anyone who feels alone, or inspire people to insist on their equality, then it’s worth the trade-off with my own privacy.”
Apple chairman Art Levinson responded to Cook’s essay, calling him “courageous.”
“[Cook's] decision to speak out will help advance the cause of equality and inclusion far beyond the business world. On behalf of the board and our entire company, we are incredibly proud to have Tim leading Apple,” Levinson said in a statement.

Amber Vinson, the second nurse to contract the deadly Ebola virus has been discharged from the hospital after being declared to be rid of the virus.
She was discharged Emory University Hospital in Atlanta on Tuesday afternoon.
Vinson, 29, was diagnosed after taking care of Thomas Eric Duncan, the first Ebola patient diagnosed on U.S. soil, at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
Dallas nurse Nina Pham, who also worked to treat Duncan, contracted the disease as well but was declared Ebola-free after treatment and was released last week from the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Md.

President of Zambia, Michael Zata has died in London where he has been recieving treatment for an undisclosed illness in recent weeks according to reports in Zambia. Government officials are yet to give an immediate comment but the death of the president will necessitate am election within 90days
The reports said Sata died on Tuesday evening at London’s King Edward VII hospital. The hospital declined to comment.
Sata, 77, left Zambia for medical treatment on 19 October accompanied by his wife and family members, according to a brief government statement that gave no further details.
Sata has not been seen in public since he returned to Zambia from New York in late September.

Are you bothered that people see you as arrogant?;
“Bother me? Never! I am not bothered. Honestly I don’t hear people saying it because anytime I go out, I show my fans great love. I do my thing. I don’t have problem with that because I don’t love everybody as well. So I don’t expect everybody to love me too. That’s life”
Asked if he is terrible person, Wizkid said;
“Terrible? Everyone has opinion about people. But when they say Wizkid is terrible, you need to ask them, “Why is Wizkid a terrible person? What did he do? For four years, I was making music with Samklef, everyone knew his house. I was going up and down, shouting, Samklef Nor Ni. That’s me, I am just trying to be a good person. Whereas everyone cannot like you and everyone cannot hate you” he said.
“No, fame has not changed Wizkid. The only thing fame has changed in Wizkid is that I added some accessories. I have got nice chains, watches, and nice clothes. Asides that, I am still Wizkid. I no tall, still same height”
“Oh really? She’s bitter about it. I didn’t see the allegation but I gave her hit song. I no try? I did my part. I was in the studio with her, gave her hit song. I no try. That’s not even how much I charge for collaboration, I charge N10 million. I collected N1.5 million from her because of love. I was busy, I didn’t want to do it” he said.
“Yeah I don’t charge people I love. I said so but when someone is on your neck everyday for a collaboration and she offers you money, won’t you collect it? If you fail to collect it, they start calling you terrible person. I am just trying to be a good guy”
“Fresh! Am I not looking fresh? I have always loved chains a lot. For me, I also see chains as investment because they ar gold and diamond. You can always sell anything gold and diamond. It is like an investment for me”.
“You know now. I didn’t have accessories when I started my career. Did you see me wearing bling-bling when I did Hola at your boi? No! I hustled to get money to buy them and there is no crime if I show it or flaunt it to my fans because they gave me money to buy them” he said
“I will say property but most importantly Jewelry. Do you know how much I can sell this chain on my neck when I get broke, God forbid? It’s money and to me it’s investment. I don’t spend money on foolish things. I spend moderately. Besides I am a grown man. I have problems too. I have a child I am taking care of. I have responsibilities, believe it or not” he said
“Expecting wetin? Did I tell you I am expecting a child? Yes I didn’t tell you guys when I was expecting my first child because people wanted to kill me but Honestly, nothing like that I am not expecting any child now”
