Julius Agwu Confirms He Has Withdrawn From 2015 Gubernatorial Race

Don’t quit they say, well Julius Agwu is a quitter!

The popular comedian low-key withdraws from running for governor of Rivers State. He told a correspondent of Punch about his decision to pull out. “My people have asked me to drop my ambition because of a zoning arrangement within the PDP to produce the next governor of Rivers State from the riverine tribes,” he said.

Julius Agwu has however been offered the chance to have a seat for Rivers at the National House of Assembly he hinted he might not be accepting the offer . “The reason is that I really want to concentrate on my career. I think I am going to forget about politics for now and focus on my career,” he added.
