Popular Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde was one of the guests at the First Ever African summit on child marriage which held at Lusaka, Zambia held on the 27th of November, 2015.
Omotola who was a speaker at the event, spoke on the ways Movies and media can help eradicate child marriages from Africa.
Meeting with the Zambian president Edgar Lungu who stated that he’s not interested in curbing child marriage but eliminating it. Also in attendance were the zambian First Lady, First Lady Esther Lungu, South Africa’s First Lady Tobeka Zuma and Ethiopia First Lady Roman Tesfaye.
