APC governorship candidate, Yahaya Bello has emerged as the winner of the Kogi governorship election.
APC had 247,752 votes, while PDP had 204,877 votes. For the supplementary poll, APC had votes of 6885 and PDP 5363 votes.
Prof. Emmanuel Kucha who is the vice chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi who is the returning officer announced the results in Lokoja.
The supplementary election in Kogi was held in 18 out of the 21 local governments in the state.
