Enugu Rangers Wins First NPFL Title After 32 Years

Rangers International of Enugu have lifted the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) for the first time in 32 years.

In a masterclass performance at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, the Flying Antelopes who last lifted the trophy in 1984 defeated El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.Chisom Egbuchalam was the star of the game as he scored a hat-trick in a 4-0 victory.
Rangers took the lead in the 2nd minute through Chisom Egbuchalam. Isaac Okoro doubled the lead in the 42nd minute. Egbuchalam scored his second in the 64th minute. He made it three through the penalty spot in added time.

Rangers will have its coach Imama Amapakabo and its players to thank for this historic event.
