The Nigerian government has declared Monday, May 29th as a Public Holiday. May 29th is Nigeria’s Democracy Day. Minister of Interior Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau declared announced on Thursday, May 25th in Abuja.
May 29th makes it the 2nd year anniversary of incumbent president Muhammadu Buhari. “No doubt, the nation is closer to getting out of recession, particularly with the recently launched Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP), which seeks to revitalize the nation’s economy soonest”, Dambazau said. “With the recently signed Executive Orders on Ease of Doing Business, we have opened our doors wider for both domestic and foreign investors,” Mr Abdulrahman said in a statement
