Nnamdi Kanu, leader of secessionist group Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is reportedly seeking a dialogue with the Federal Government.
Kanu, whose whereabouts is still on debate, members of his group claiming he has been abducted by the military, and the FG saying he has gone into hiding, is according to his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, seeking a political solution to his ordeal, PM News reports.
Kanu, whose group has been proscribed and declared a terrorist organisation by the FG, flouted his bail conditions.
Ejiofor said:
Nnamdi Kanu is not averse to a political solution in resolving his present politically orchestrated ordeal.
He welcomes genuine political solution to this case. Nnamdi Kanu has people of proven integrity and impeccable character that will negotiate on his behalf, based on his demands when communication on this effect is established.
