President Jonathan in Abuja today, July 30th introduced the new 64-Page E-Passport. The president’s spokesman Rueben Abati on Twitter said the new passport meets the current global standard of international passport.
He tweeted “the new e-passport conforms with international best practice and will be of more benefits to travellers, as it is gender friendly, forestalls identity theft, cheaper for the aged & low income earners.”
The price of the new passport for Nigerians under 18 and over 60 is N8,750 and also for those changing their passport because of a change of name.
