Melinda Gates, wife to one of the richest men in the world, Bill Gates paid a recent to Malawi where she visited poor residents and even at the point of her visit helped the locals during her stay there.
She lifted 20 litres of water on her head and expressed her shock at how the women there were able to lift 40 litre effortlessly.
She shared the photos and caption:
Helping wash the dishes during my homestay in Malawi. Women spend much of the day cooking and then cleaning up. It’s a reminder that it’s a lot more time consuming to do dishes when you can’t just turn on a faucet
