Buhari Jets Out For 5-Day-Vacation; Osinbajo To Take Over As President

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has headed for a short vacation from today 5th of February and it will last 5 days.

In a statement issued by Special Adviser to Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says that while Buhari is away, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will perform the functions of the President.

The statement added that in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the Nigerian Constitution, President Buhari has dispatched a formal notice of his vacation to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
