The University of Lagos has been closed down after a protest by the students over poor electricity and water supply in the campus.
An emergency meeting by the University Senate took place on Thursday March 7 concluded the University should be closed as a result of the fuel crisis facing Nigeria.
The Senate noted that the problem of poor municipal services is a national issue that the Government of both State and Federal level are addressing.
