Nyanya, Abuja was struck this morning by a bomb blast that left nothing less than 70 people dead and several others injured.
During emergencies like this, hospitals generally encourage people to come forward to donate blood to the injured victims.
However, one hospital in Abuja is reportedly denying blood donations from women and this was reportedly explained by social media activist Maryam Abubakar.
She said Garki hospital in Abuja does not collect blood from women.
