Students of Olabisi Onabanjo University embarked on a peaceful protest but turned into a violent protest after Soldiers teargassed them.
The students were said to be protesting a school fees hike. The governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun already reduced the fees of the school, which is to take effect next academic session, but the students wanted a further reduction.
The governor is said to be on is way to address the protest.
