Oscar Pistorius has been sentenced to 5 years in Prison right after being charged with manslaughter on February 14th for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
While his defence asked for a house arrest while the prosecution asked for 10-5 years
According to legal experts he may not spend all 5 years in prison as the commissioner of correctional services could convert the sentencing to community service at anytime they deem fit.
Pistoriius was calm through and after the sentencing and it’s unsure if he would appeal.
