Nigerians Storm Banks as BVN Registration Deadline Looms

Today, June 30 is the deadline for registration for Bank Verification Number (BVN). Nigerians have left it late until the final days before registering for their BVN.

The BVN gives each Bank customer a unique identity across the Nigerian Banking industry that can be used for easy identification and verification at Point of Banking operations.

Some photos of customers storming a First Bank branch has surfaced online. Other banks have also reported a high number of customers coming in for their registration this week.
