Super Eagles player, Michael Babatunde isn’t letting his injury prevent him from throwing his support behind his fellow players who are getting ready to face the French national team later today.

Michael Babatunde, who sustained an injury on his hand after blocking a shot by Ogenyi Onazi which was goal bound, will no longer be able to participate in the world tournament, Chief Coach of the Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi explained.

The Nigerian midfielder shared with Kick Off Nigeria that “I will be praying for the team and I am sure they will do the nation proud in this World Cup.”

Earlier today, he also took to his instagram page to post images of himself with a bandaged arm on an hospital bed.
