While there have been wide speculations that Super Eagles of Nigeria’s Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi might have resigned, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, the Minister of Sports and Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC) has explained that Stephen Keshi has not reigned.
In a statement released the minister said, “It is not true that Keshi has resigned. He told me that he never said so, that his contract only expired. I expect the NFF to the needful.”
According to Channels Television, the minister says Keshi should be treated with some respect by the football administrators, who should first discuss the matter of his contract with him before making it a press issue.
Keshi also debunked the reports that his last game as Chief Coach of the national team might be the one with France.
