There was mayhem in Gbagi Plaza in Warri when a soldier was nabbed by traders who accused him of stealing an iPhone from one of the shops at the Plaza.
The Soldier was dressed in military camouflage as at the time when he was apprehended. The traders landed heavily on him and beat him to pulp till he was rescued and taken to the house of a retired military officer.
From the retired officer’s house, the suspect was said to have been whisked to the 3 Battalion, Nigerian Army barracks at Effurun.
