Nigerian musical acts are beginning to get more recognition for their hardwork and their entertainment prowess.
A couple of OUR stars have been nominated for ‘Best African Act category’ for the 2014 MOBO Awards.
Davido, Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, were the Nigerians nominated in the category which also includes Afrikan Boy, DJ Clock, Fuse ODG, Mafikozolo, and Mista Silva.
At the 2013 edition of the awards, British musician of Ghanaian descent, Fuse ODG won the ‘Best African Act’ award.
At the moment, Nigeria’s Davido is hinted to be most likely to pick up the gong.
The awards ceremony will be held in London at the SSE Arena, Wembley on 22 October.
