Lupita Nyong’o stunned in leading fashion brand, Maki Oh for her ongoing ‘Homecoming Tour’ in Kenya. Maki Oh is a Nigerian fashion brand which has featured notable figures including Mrs. Michelle Obama, Solange Knowles, Lee Lee Sobieski, and Lupita Nyong’O slaying in her pieces.
Lupita Nyong’O stepped out for the event in two classic hand-painted and hand-dyed ‘Adire’ pieces by the eponymous brand by Maki Osakwe.
One was a silk satin scarf blouse paired with a silk cotton skirt for a mentorship event to talk about the importance of art; and the 2nd was a silk satin and velvet vest with silk cotton wide leg trousers to spearhead a campaign to end the slaughter of elephants for ivory.
