The world’s oldest person Emma Marano turned 117 on November 29th and has revealed the keys to living long. Emma attributes her longevity to being single, staying in, and going to bed early.

She was born in 1899 in Italy. She is believed to be the only person alive who has witness three centuries (1800, 1900, 2000s). When told last month that she made it into the Guinness World Records as the oldest person alive, Morano reportedly said, “My word, I’m old as the hills,” which also basically cemented her as the most world’s most charming, as well.

She has been single and living alone since 1938 when she left her abusive husband following the death of their only son.  “I didn’t want to be dominated by anyone,” she told AFP. She revealed she has been eating raw eggs and boil eggs every day since she was 20 and doesn’t eat meat out of fear of cancer. “I eat two eggs a day, and that’s it. And cookies. But I do not eat much because I have no teeth,” she said.

Due to her age, she can no longer ear but is very alert. Her vision is also not good enough to watch TV.
