Several Airplanes Reported Missing At Libyan Airport; Officials Say They Could Be Used On 9/11 Anniversary Against U.S

libya

There has been serious worry in Libya over 11 commercial jets that have gone missing last month, after a militant group called The Libyan Dawn took control of the Libyan International Airport.

There have been concerns by the U.S government over the fact that the planes could be used in attacking the U.S to mar the anniversary of the 9/11 which is slated for later this month.

“There are a number of commercial airliners in Libya that are missing,’We found out on September 11 what can happen with hijacked planes” said an Official to Free-Beacon.

The Libyan government earlier this week announced that they had lost control of the state capital to radical Islamic groups Ansar al Sharia and Libyan Dawn. Ansar al Sharia has ties to the Islamic State (also known as ISIS).

The US are reportedly working to track down the missing airplanes and prevent any possible attacks.
