In a sad development in the early hours of today, 30th October, 2015 at 2nd rainbow bus-stop, along Apapa-Oshodi expresway, in the Amuwo-Odofin area of Lagos, a cab driver allegedly met his demise after being shot dead by a Police officer.
According to eye witnesses the cab driver was driving against traffic and the police officer manning the area shot him dead on the spot. An angry mob dismantled their car and looted all the illegally seized motorcycles that were packed inside while also damaging a number of Police patrol vehicles as well.
